SUMMARY:Members' Event: Collecting Art\, Collecting Ideas Tour
DESCRIPTION:MOCCA MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM\n \n	\n	\n \n	\n	\n Offered to Contributing Members and up ($250+)\n  \nGallerist Daniel Faria and curator Rui Amaral open their home and personal collection to MOCCA Members. Daniel and Rui’s collection reflects the many relationships they’ve formed with artists\, each work marking some form of artistic exchange that has shifted from being in awe of the artist and their practice\, to eventually collaborating with them on an exhibition\, catalogue\, research and sometimes just simply friendship. \n\nThe content of the work in their collection investigates the space where abstraction and the body intersperse\, creating a sense of melancholia\, humour and musicality. \nFor more information or to RSVP contact Katy Laird\, Manager\, Membership and Development: klaird@mocca.ca or 416-395-7613 \n  \nImage: Drawing installation by Derek Liddington\, collection of Daniel Faria and Rui Amaral
