1 pm: Artists talk with Jade Rude & Bruno Billio. Open to the Public.
Jade Rude is a Toronto-based artist and designer who works in a variety of media including sculpture, installation, and video. Bruno Billio is a Canadian sculptor and installation artist who as been the artist in residence at the Gladstone Hotel for the last few years.
3 pm: Heineken ‘Behind the Scenes’ (refreshments included):
Join us this Saturday, August 7th for the next edition of the Heineken ‘Behind the Scenes’ event series, giving you exclusive access to best of Toronto’s art scene.
Heineken ‘Behind the Scenes’ begins at 3:00pm sharp at The Drake Hotel for a tour of the private art collection and exhibitions at The Drake, with an inside look at the art at the heart of this Queen West landmark. Guests will then make their way over to the Museum of Canadian Contemporary Art for a private tour and conversation with artists Jade Rude and Bruno Billio whose work is presented in this summers group exhibition, Empire of Dreams.
