MOCCA and Art Toronto are delighted to announce that Winnipeg-based artist Sarah Anne Johnson will produce a limited edition chromogenic print with applied gold leaf to benefit programming initiatives at MOCCA. This is the fifth year MOCCA and Art Toronto have commissioned an artist to produce the Art Toronto MOCCA Benefit Edition, a fundraiser for MOCCA. Gold Box will be available for purchase on-site at Art Toronto 2013.

About the artist

Sarah Anne Johnson received her BFA from the University of Manitoba in 2002, and completed her MFA at the Yale School of Art in 2004. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions internationally including:Asleep in the Forest, BMO Project Room, Toronto (2013); Haunted: Contemporary Photography/ Video/ Performance,Guggenheim Museum, New York City (2010); Guggenheim Collection: 1940s to Now, National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia (2007); Montreal Biennial (2006); Imprints, Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, Ottawa, and J’en Reve, Foundation Cartier, Paris, France (2005).
