Elmgreen and Dragset’s screenplay features a cast of iconic 20th-century sculptures who find themselves on stage and outside of their usual museum environments. As each piece takes its moment in the spotlight, Drama Queens embarks on a satirical and insightful take on the shifting nature of art and its relationship with institutions, markets and audiences over the past century.
