Great Lecture happening tomorrow at the ROM!

Gormley_180British artist Antony Gormley is widely acclaimed for his sculptures, installations and public artworks that investigate the relationship of the human body to space.

He continually tries to identify the space of art as a place of becoming, in which new behaviours, thoughts and feelings can arise.

In this lecture Antony will look at his own work and historical objects in order to consider art as a tool of survival at a time of global climate change.

Join us for a thought-provoking evening with Antony Gormley and special guest art critic Sarah Milroy.

The event with Antony Gormley takes place on Weds Nov 20 at the ROM. The lecture is from 7 to 8:30 pm (and there’s a separately ticketed reception afterwards).

Lecture tickets are $28, $20 for students.
