Jon Sasaki: Bouncy Highrise

Bouncy Highrise is a performance event in which a small crew of people will attempt to stack a tower of bouncy castles, one on top of the other. This will take place over the course of two to three hours in the courtyard in front of MOCCA. Presented by Jessica Bradley Gallery in association with MOCCA and Villa Toronto.

Model Minority Publication Preview with Gendai

In conjunction with the exhibition Vera Frenkel: Ways of Telling, Gendai Gallery will introduce their most recent publication through a selection of readings, which will take place around Frenkel's immerse installation "...from the Transit Bar". The publication titled Model Minority, is an assemblage of the readings, articles, ephemera, and archives discovered and created from a year-long programming series issued under the same name.

‘Art of Wine’ Workshop

MOCCA invites you to a wine-tasting workshop with Krystina Roman of Rosewood Estates. Krystina will lead us through a 'Blind Tasting 101' and an introduction to becoming a 'Master Sommelier'. She will discuss the tricks and tips that wine professionals use to identify the quality of a wine using four different wine styles: dry, oak-aged, light and heavy bodied.
