The Sobey Art Award 2004 Touring Exhibition features the 5 regional finalists who were nominated in 2004 for the prestigious $50,000 prize for artists under 40 years of age. Along with the winner, Montreal’s Jean-Pierre Gauthier, viewers will also have the opportunity to see extraordinary examples of work from Germaine Koh (Ontario), Althea Thauberger (West Coast and Yukon), Greg Forrest (Atlantic), and Marcel Dzama (Prairies and the North).
The Sobey Art Award 2004 Touring Exhibition is presented by Scotiabank and is organized and circulated by the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
