Gallerist Daniel Faria and curator Rui Amaral open their home and personal collection to MOCCA Members. Daniel and Rui’s collection reflects the many relationships they’ve formed with artists, each work marking some form of artistic exchange that has shifted from being in awe of the artist and their practice, to eventually collaborating with them on an exhibition, catalogue, research and sometimes just simply friendship.
The content of the work in their collection investigates the space where abstraction and the body intersperse, creating a sense of melancholia, humour and musicality.
