In the Media/Retail Space, MOCCA is very pleased to present a site specific wall painting and installation by Governor General Award recipient Garry Neill Kennedy to celebrate the recent release of his latest publication Superstar Shadow. Published by the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, Museum London, the National Gallery of Canada, the Owens Art Gallery, and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Superstar Shadow documents a selection of Garry’s large-scale site-specific painting installations and preparatory drawings, from the period 1984 through 2005. Three of these major works were produced at venues for MOCCA’s traveling exhibition, The Ironic Turn. NOTHING PERSONAL is his most recent addition to this ongoing series.
